Coal Chamber have confirmed a May 19th North America release date for their new album, Rivals. This is the Los Angeles, California band’s first new album in more than thirteen years. Mark Lewis has produced the album which continues where the band left off and it’s easy to forget the time they spent away from making music together. Early reviews have suggested that this is Coal Chamber’s best work to date.
The artwork and tracklisting for Rivals have been revealed today.
Frontman Dez Fafara said, “This record was over thirteen years in the making and I promise this record won’t disappoint and will be worth the wait! Rivals is solid through and through, there’s maturity and growth in the music while still maintaining the true Coal Chamber sound and delivering track after track of killer tunes! We had a great time working together on this record and I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do!”
Coal Chamber revolutionized the music scene for many years, leading the way for other bands to follow. They owned their niche, sold out tours and moved millions of records. Now, in 2015, they have made a triumphant return, putting their break up of 2002 firmly in the past.
There is no doubt that Coal Chamber will regain their position right back at the top. Prepare for a new musical revolution!
